About Me
My name is Christine Colbert, and I am the Deputy Commander for Cadets at Polk County Composite Squadron. I have been in Civil Air Patrol for 7 years now, starting as a Cadet. I worked though the Cadet Program, making the rank of C/Maj., before transferring my membership to be a Senior Member at the age of 21. I am now a 1st Lt. and have been in Cadet Leadership for a few years.

Graduated from U of FL, spent 21 years in US Army, Signal Corps. Worked at the White House 1978-1982. Commanded the 63rd Signal Battalion and deployed them to Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield/Storm. Retired 1993. Taught Army JROTC at George Jenkins HS till 2000. Became a Realtor/Broker. Do volunteer work as a Guardian ad Litem for 3 foster children. Rejoined CAP in Nov 2007 and currently serve as the Vice Commander for Group 3, Florida Wing. |
